Dax Curtis Boutin

Jonathan and Elise Peltier Boutin of Rayne are announcing the birth of a son, Dax Curtis, born at 9:13 a.m. on Jan. 12, 2016, at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas.
At birth, he weighed 5 pounds 8 ounces, and measured 18.75 inches in length.
Mrs. Boutin is the former Elise Peltier, daughter of Chuck and Sylvia Peltier of Rayne, maternal grandparents.
Paternal grandparents are Curtis and Donna Boutin of Portland, OR, and Susan and Karsten Hoysagk of Astoria, OR.
He is welcomed by three brothers, Charley (4), Jase (3) and Rhett (23 months).
Godparents are Jordan and Jordan Barousse of Rayne.
Maternal great-grandparents are Robert and Mary Ann Prejean and the late Al and Claudia Peltier, all of Rayne.
Paternal great-grandparents are Marie and Verlin Abbott of Lafayette, the late Young Boutin of Lafayette, and the late Lloyd and Gloria Slape of Portland, OR.
