One Acadiana partners to produce statewide Economic Development Summit

State’s regional EDOs convene first-of-its kind event in 10 years

One Acadiana has announced its collaboration with economic development partners across Louisiana, including the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, to produce a Statewide Economic Development Summit in Baton Rouge on April 18, featuring keynote presentations by Gov. John Bel Edwards and Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development Don Pierson Jr.
The first-of-its-kind in 10 years, the Summit, presented by Entergy, is intended to strengthen the state’s economy through shared ideas and business practices.
The Summit will take place at L’Auberge Baton Rouge from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Additional content for the day includes a presentation by Matt S. Erskine, U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development and Chief Operating Officer for the Economic Development Administration; a technology panel featuring technology companies from around the state; and a national site selection consultant.
