Road Re-Surfacing Begins In Rayne

SURFACE WORK BEGINS - The initial phase of re-surfacing West Texas Ave. has begun with the top layer of old asphalt removed from Second Street until Eighth Street near Zaunrecher Road where bridge work is in the final stages of completion. Drivers may want to avoid this area, in addition to Zaunbrecher Road, as work will continue for the coming months. Work will also begin on Hwy 90 just west of Rayne and continue to Crowley, an ongoing construction project to complete Hwy 90 re-surfacing throughout the parish.
