Pink Lady of Month

The Pink Ladies of the Acadian Medical Center held its meeting Wednesday, Feb. 5.

President Lise Richard called the meeting to order. The meeting was opened with prayer. Theresa Corbello called the roll of members, 18 members were present.

Helen Tanner read the minutes of the last meeting, all were approved. Jeanette Landreneau gave the treasurer’s report.

The ladies welcomed a guest speaker, Renee Rhodes. She spoke about organ and tissue donations and how important it is. She explained how to find more information about the donation proceedure, by visiting your local OMU or call 1-800-521Give or go to www.donatelifela.org.

Flossie LeDoux was named Pink Lady of the Month.

The volunteer members enjoyed a meal at the conclusion of the meeting.

The next meeting will be March 4.
