Darlene “Dee” Dronet

CROWLEY – A Mass of Christian will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for Darlene Marie “Dee” Dronet, 58, who died August 27, 2009 at the American Legion Hospital in Crowley.

Fr. Gary Schexnayder will be officiating for the services. The family is requesting visiting hours to be held Friday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to the time of service. A rosary will be lead by Sr. Justina Baker at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

She is survived by one sister, Debra Dronet Mounger of Pasadena, Texas; one brother, Tony “Drag” Dronet of Crowley; two nieces, Courtney Mounger, and Hannah Dronet; three nephews, Stewart Dronet, Micah Dronet, and Buddy Mounger; one great-nephew, Drayton Mounger, and two godchildren, Marla Adam Gaspard, and Kevin Gauthreaux.

Dee is preceded in death by her parents Norris and Lena Pizzolatto Dronet.

The family would like to thank the staff of American Legion Hospital, Southern Care Hospice of Scott, Dr. Karrie Kilgore, Dr. Joshua Mammen, and Dr. Dale Leleux.
