Engagement - Rachel Johnson - Tyler Guidry

Rachel Johnson will become the bride of Tyler Guidry on Saturday, October 11, 2008 during a three o’clock afternoon wedding ceremony at the Acadian Village Chapel in Lafayette, followed by a reception at the American Legion Hall in Rayne.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Wilfred and Brenda Johnson of Rayne. Her grandparents are the late Roy and Agathe Comeaux and the late Louis and Rose Johnson. She is a graduate of Rayne High School, attended Louisiana State University at Eunice, and is employed as a lease analyst at Sterling Energy, Inc.

The prospective groom is the son of Boo and Patsy Guidry of Rayne. His grandparents are Walter Stelly and the late Polly “Dee” Stelly, and the late Dennis and Yalonde Guidry. He is a graduate of Rayne High School, attended Louisiana Technical College, and is employed by Nick Stelly’s Welding and Machine Shop as a machinist.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Rayne.
