Work has begun on Veterans Park.
Earth-moving equipment was at the site last Thursday morning (July 7), marking the beginning of construction at the long-awaited park.

Post 77 American Legion, Auxiliary install officers

RAYNE - Arceneaux Post No. 77 and Auxiliary Unit No. 77 of the American Legion held a joint installation of officers Tuesday evening, July 5, at the American Legion Home.
Following the presentation of colors for the 2016 event, Chaplain Robert Comeaux offered the opening prayer. Commander David Simon led the Pledge of Allegiance.
