Krewe de les Dames holds annual ‘Ladies Tea’ social

Members of the Crowley Town Club’s “Krewe de les Dames” held their annual  “Ladies Tea” at the home of Nancy Wild on Sunday, Oct. 12.

In keeping with tradition of old fashioned teas, the approximately 30 ladies in attendance were fashionably dressed in many styles of hats.

They enjoyed finger sandwiches along with petit fours and plenty of iced tea.

Hostesses for the event were Katie Chiasson, Georgie Petitjean, Ann Sibley, Marlene Thibodeaux, M’elise Trahan and Nancy Wild.

The Krewe of Town Revelers’ annual Carnival Ball is set for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Rice Festival Building in Crowley.
