Krewe of Town Revelers announce 2015 Mardi Gras Ball theme

Ask any proud member of the Crowley Town Club, and they will tell you that the Krewe of Town Revelers annual Carnival Ball is a production unlike any other, often taking guests through an amazing and imaginative journey.

“Our members have talent! And it’s showcased during this event that draws and astounds hundreds of people each year,” says Theme Party Committee Chairperson Laurie Suire.

The theme for the 2015 celebration - “00 Cimmer” - was announced at a fun-filled party held at the Crowley Town Club on Sept. 24.

A large crowd was on hand for the family-oriented announcement event, and attendees enjoyed games and socializing as they discussed plans for the upcoming Mardi Gras season.

The “A View to a Grill” Buffet followed the theme and included Scotland Yard Soup, Shrimp Ka-Bombs, Bond Girl Burgers, Thai Spy Green Beans and Her Majesty’s Royal Risotto. Dessert was Confidential Cupcakes by Ruddock’s.

The younger guests enjoyed Gold Finger Chicken Fingers, Secret Agent Sliders and Top Secret Tots along with special kid’s drinks, Agent Red and Agent Blue.

With the theme “00 Cimmer,” the Carnival Ball will feature court members as the many faces and characters of 007 Agent James Bond and the famous Bond Girls.

Ball Director Judy Guillot promises an exciting night of “special ops” and intrigue with costumes, music and entertainment.

Don’t miss the celebration on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at 7 p.m. at the Rice Festival Building in Crowley.

Plan to join the Krewe of Town Revelers for a night that is so much fun it should be illegal.
