Duos, Joubert set to wed Saturday, May 9

 

Dr. and Mrs. Clay M. Duos of Eunice are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Claire Elise Duos of Lafayette, to Seth Jordon Joubert of Eunice.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Clarice Zaunbrecher LeJeune of Iota and the late Rodney W. LeJeune, and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clabert Duos of Ville Platte.

Miss Duos graduated from St. Edmund High School in Eunice before attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, and Northwestern State University, from which she graduated with a Master of Science degree in nursing. She is presently employed as a family nurse practitioner at Med Ed of Louisiana.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Ray Joubert of Eunice. His maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Nat Godeaux of Eunice, and his paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Leopold Joubert of Opelousas.

Mr. Joubert is a graduate of Eunice High School and Louisiana Tech University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics. He currently works as a financial services representative with State Farm Insurance.

Fr. Gary Schexnayer will officiate the couple’s 1 p.m. nuptial service at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Lafayette on Saturday, May 9.

Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Lafayette.
