Habetz, Hetzel set Sept. 5 wedding date

Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Leonard Habetz of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Marie, to William Carl Hetzel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Albert Hetzel Jr. of Crowley.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Curtis R. Hoffpauir and the late Mr. and Mrs. H. Leo Habetz Jr. of Crowley. Jennifer is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication disorders. She obtained her teaching certification in elementary education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as a fifth grade teacher at Saint Michael School in Crowley.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Gerald Trouille and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Albert Hetzel Sr. of Crowley. William is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a graduate of Lafayette General Medical Center School of Radiology. He is currently employed at Lafayette General Medical Center.

Rev. Fr. Gary Schexnayder will unite the couple in holy matrimony on Friday, September 5, during a Nuptial Mass at Saint Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Crowley.
