Elite nurses recognized

Registered Nurses Shayla Bernard, left, and Lucille Woodard, right, of Crowley were recently honored as two of the 97 elite nurses of Acadiana at the Second Annual Elite 97 Nurses Banquet hosted by Amedisys Home Health Services and 97.3 “The Dawg” radio station. Bernard and Woodard, who were nominated for their compassion, team spirit and professionalism, were recognized at a banquet held at the Petroleum Club in Lafayette Sept. 10.
