NAUW Crowley Branch attends conference

Delegates from the National Association of University Women Crowley Branch in attendance at the 57th NAUW South Central Sectional Conference held in Houston, Texas, on June 16-18 were, from left, Cheryl Lewis, Betty Gums, Debira Broussard, Shelda Kelso, Cynthia Winbush, Dr. Ezora Proctor and Myrtle Cain. The South Central Section consists of women from Alabama Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Among the activities at the conference were leadership workshops, a “meet the candidates” forum, selection of sectional officers, a public program and reception, an awards luncheon, committee reports, plenary sessions and installation of officers. Special executives at the conference were National President Evelyn Wright, National Second Vice President Letissa Vereen and Past National Presidents Ollie Johnson and Proctor.
