Crime Stoppers seeks information in Rayne attempted burglary

Information, as well as photo, released by Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish.

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Rayne Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify several suspects involved in an attempted burglary. The crime occurred at the Classic Carwash located on South Adams in Rayne around 2:30 a.m. on Sept. 5. 

The surveillance video shows a four door sedan, green in color, with a sunroof occupied by two black males and a light skinned female pull next to the vacuum by the coin dispenser. The driver, a dark skin black male, approximately 6 feet in height, wearing blue jean pants, white T-shirt and a dark colored cap exited the vehicle grabbing a tool out the trunk and attempted to gain entry into the coin machine while the other occupants appeared to be cleaning the car and looking out.
