Crowley Police arrest 1, seek 2 on narcotics charges from incident

Officers with the Crowley Police Department have arrested one Crowley man and are seeking two others regarding narcotics and other charges.
The charges stem from a March 30 investigation. During the investigation, officers attempted to stop a vehicle at which time the vehicle fled. The stop was for a traffic violation. When the vehicle reached the intersection of 10th Street and Avenue A, all occupants exited the vehicle and fled on foot. All occupants were known to officers.
“Our officers gave chase to the suspects on foot and were able to capture one of the occupants, identified as Elliot Zeno, 17, of Crowley,” stated Chief K.P. Gibson. “The other occupants were identified as Antonio Brooks, 19, of Crowley and David Chaisson Jr., 19, of Crowley.”
Zeno has been charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, resisting an officer and obstruction of justice. He has been booked into the Acadia Parish Jail.
Warrants have been issued for Brooks and Chaisson on the same charges.
