Recent APSO misdemeanor arrests announced

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon stated that his office logged the following misdemeanor arrests, recently:

• Heidi Faircloth, 44, criminal trespassing: Alamo Lane, Church Point.

• Mikel Cox, 43, peeping tom: Pinto Lane, Rayne

• Louis A. Fontenot, 77, littering and criminal trespassing: Leger Road, Crowley.

• John Jenkins, 25, cruelty to animals: Stagg Avenue, Basile.

• George William Doucet Jr., 44, disturbing the peace by intoxication: East 10th Street, Crowley.

• Rebecca Begnaud, 56, theft: Wyman Road, Scott.

• Carl Theriot, 63, no insurance, no registration and abuse of toxic vapors: California Street, Estherwood.

• Byron Myers, 55, passing school bus: Iota Highway, Iota.

• Timothy Gotreaux, 20, disturbing the peace: Conrad Road, Crowley.

• Dawn Monique Foreman, 18, disturbing the peace by fighting: Conrad Road, Crowley.

• Dillon Istre, 20, disturbing the peace by fighting: Conrad Road, Crowley.

• Justina Luke Hebert, 33, disturbing the peace by fighting and criminal trespassing: Barbara Drive, Crowley.

• Amanda Faith Hebert, 24, theft by shoplifting: Duson.

• Kelly D. Davis, 27, disturbing the peace by intoxication: Roberts Cove Road, Crowley.

• Jessica Gotte, 37, obstructing public passage: Lime Road, Iota.

• Nathaniel Seymon Laughlin, 27, criminal trespassing: Chappuis Street, Rayne.

• Kylie Matthews, 28, aggravated assault: Mire Highway, Rayne.

Man arrested for carnal knowledge

In an unrelated incident, Melancon stated that on Nov. 9 deputies responded to and investigated a complaint of carnal knowledge with a 13-year-old juvenile that allegedly occurred at a residence located on Dan Drive near Eunice.

Following an investigation into the incident a warrant of arrest was issued for 18-year-old Joshua Allen Stover of the 500 block of Harold Street in Eunice. Stover was arrested without incident and placed in the Acadia Parish Jail charged with carnal knowledge of a juvenile.  His bond was set at $20,000 by District Judge Kristian Earles.
