ACT Prep Course announced

Acadia Parish Sheriff Wayne Melancon announced that he will sponsor a final ACT Prep Course for this school year on Saturday, April 5, at the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office located at 1037 Capitol Road in Crowley.

Melancon stated that the class which is available to all interested high school students is scheduled to begin promptly at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to be complete around 2 p.m. Students are encouraged to call Lana Benoit at 337-788-8722 to reserve a seat and are asked to bring paper, pencil and a calculator to the session. Lunch, snacks and beverages will be provided for all in attendance.

Melancon and his office has been offering this course for the past six years in an effort to help students that are interested in furthering their education beyond high school be better prepared for the test.
