Police investigating rice mill incident

Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a crime.

The Crowley Police Department is investigating criminal damage which occurred at Louisiana Rice Mill, located at 600 W. First St., during the night of July 24.

Entry was made into the business and several grain silos were opened causing several million pounds of rice to spill onto the ground.  A suspect vehicle described as a black or dark colored full size pickup truck was seen leaving the area heading east on Mill Street.
