Eva Bias

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. at Starlight Baptist Church in Rayne for Eva Bias, 66, of Rayne, who died on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Reverend Dennis Francis will be officiating. Visitation will be held at Starlight Baptist Church on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Internment will be at Rayne Protestant Cemetery.
Eva was born on Nov. 14, 1948, in Rayne. She is the daughter of Louis and Grace Bias Sr.
Eva is survived by her children, Kevin Bias and wife Reneé, Sheila Crumb and Khensa Charles, all of Rayne, and Ezzie Charles Jr. of Baton Rouge; 12 grandchildren, Willie, Colby Blake, Nahia, Colby, Kevin Jr., Andre, Dustin, Alexandra, Elijah, Jaquan, Rufus and Da’Moriyah; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Spencer and husband James of Port Arthur, Texas; one brother, Louis Bias Jr. and wife Mona of Port Arthur, Texas; her nieces, Yolanda and Jamesetta; her nephews, Terrance, Harlon and Reginald; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Grace Bias; her daughter, Tamara Bias; her brother, Charles Bias; her sister, Elizabeth Gabriel, her daughter-in-law, Trymica Charles, her son-in-law, Allen David Crumb Jr.; and her godson, Ron  Beverly.
Final arrangements have been entrusted to Wilturner Funeral Home of  Crowley.
