Robert “Bobby” Dale LeBlanc Sr.

Robert “Bobby” Dale LeBlanc Sr. went to be with his Lord on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014. Bobby was born on May 23, 1956, in Crowley, to the late Louis Joseph and Arecia Primeaux LeBlanc.

Bobby was an avid fisherman who was talented with many trades. Bobby was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bobby was a well-respected plant operator/maintenance supervisor. Bobby was devoted to his family and friends. Bobby was the past owner of Magnolia Charters in Crowley.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Tina Guidry LeBlanc of Markham, Texas; daughter Angie L. Creel and husband Ryan of Leander, Texas; son Robert “B.J.” LeBlanc Jr. of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughter, Shauna M. Credeur and Steve Guidry of Lyons Point; two stepsons, Derrick A. Credeur and wife Heidi of Iota and Casey L. Credeur and wife Brandi B. of Lyons Point; 16 grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Shirley L. Sarver, Kenneth LeBlanc, Darrell LeBlanc, Mary Linda Leleux and Kathy Leleux; godchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Raymond LeBlanc; and father-in-law, Kirt L. Guidry.

Visitation was held from 4-8 p.m. Monday at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas. Visitation will follow from 1-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6 p.m. by Deacon Cody Miller. 

The Mass of the Resurrection will occur at 2 p.m. on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Mermentau with Father Randall Moreau officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Robert “B.J.” LeBlanc Jr., Derrick Credeur, Casey Credeur, Eric Robinson, Roger Bertrand, Gary Leleux, Brian Creel, Kade Credeur and Andrew Sarver.
