Sonnier - Leger Descendants Attend Family Reunion

A large number of descendants of the Sonnier-Leger families attended a family reunion on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at Union Hall in Rayne.

Reunion committee members were Joyce Trahan and Dorothy Leger.

A covered dish luncheon was enjoyed by all in attendance.

Entertainment was provided by Bobby Dupuis, disc jockey.

Honored for their attendance at the reunion were:

Clifford Leger of Crowley, eldest family member in attendance at 81 years of age.

Rhett Meaux of Maurice, youngest family member in attendance at three months of age. He is the son of Heather and Percy Meaux.

Christopher Comeaux of Ragley, traveled the farthest to attend the reunion.
