RCE Lady Tigers Are State Champions
The 2013-2014 Rayne Catholic Elementary 8th grade girls softball team who completed the season as undefeated league champions.
Team members and coaches also traveled to UL-Monroe where they claimed the State Jr. High School Tournament championship.
Team members and coaches are Maddie Dupont, Trinity Axtell, Macie Breaux, Mary-Kate Bourgeois, Abbie Higginbotham, Maria Brown, Melise Gossen, Kennedy Smith, Taylor Faul, Marcella Gossen and Coaches Jason Smith and Ronnie Meaux.
Marcella Gossen was also named the tournament MVP.
