RHS volleyball, football seasons eye action soon

With the start of a new school year brings about the sounds of football and volleyball fans cheering on their school athletes.
With that start soon approaching, RHS Head Volleyball Coach Stephanie Garrett has announced the Lady Wolves’ schedule, set to begin Aug. 24th when they attend the Teurlings Jamboree in Lafayette.

Wolves’ Football
New faces, both on the field and sidelines, will be seen this football season at Rayne High School.
A basically brand new coaching staff will join Head Coach Curt Ware for the 2016 football season.
This year’s Wolves will be led by a number of returning seniors and juniors for what is sure to be an exciing season.
The Wolves will host Opelousas Catholic on Thuesday, Aug. 18, for a pre-season scrimmage at Wolf Stadium.
They will then participate in the Acadia Parish Jamboree on Thursday, Aug. 25, when they face Iota during the second game of the evening. The opening game will see Crowley High and Church Point High face off at 6 p.m.
