Eliot Grace Fontenot

Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Elliott Fontenot of Church Point are announcing the birth of their first child, a daughter, Eliot Grace, born Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at 10:59 a.m. at Lafayette General Medical Center.
At birth, she weighed 8 pounds 14 ounces, and measured 21 inches in length.
Mrs. Fontenot is the former Mackenzie Thibodeaux, daughter of maternal grandparents Bret and Dana Cormier Thibodeaux of Church Point, formerly of Rayne.
Paternal grandparents are Phillip and Phyllis Richard Fontenot of Church Point.
Maternal great-grandparents are Travis and Linda Cormier of Rayne, Brenda Thibodeaux of Rayne and the late Harry “Gus” Thibodeaux Jr.
Paternal great-grandparents are Jimmie and June Fontenot of Lafayette, and the late Eli and Mary Richard.
Godparents are Krisinda Broussard, sister of new mother, and Luke Fontenot, brother of new father.
