Nathaniel Aaron Doucet

Aaron and Elizabeth Doucet of Grand Coteau are announcing the birth of their first child, a son, Nathaniel Aaron, born Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at 12:39 p.m. at Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Lafayette.

At birth, he weighed 8 pounds and measured 20.5 inches in length.

The new mother is the former Elizabeth Mae Marks, daughter of Dennis and Sandra Marks of Grand Coteau, maternal grandparents.

Paternal grandparents are Calise “Mike” and Victoria LeBert Doucet of Rayne.

Great-grandparents are the Neva Marks and the late Oscar Marks, Enrique Pasas and the late Sylvia Pasas, Janice LeBert and the late Hilbert LeBert, and the late Emick and Evalena Doucet of Rayne.

Godparents are Curianne LeBert of Fort Hood, Texas and Ronald Marks of Fort Worth, Texas.
