RCE science fair winners announced, prepare for parish-wide contest

Students at Rayne Catholic Elementary who placed in the top three of their categories of the 2014-2015 RCE Science Fair were:
Animal Sience: 1st place Lana Richard, 2nd place Chase Habetz, 3rd place Mary Simon.
Behavorial and Social Science: 1st place Noah Bourgeois, 2nd place Jude Hebert, 3rd place Jack Himel.
Chemistry: 1st place Julia Morrison, 2nd place Hunter Miller, 3rd place Kate Schexnailder.
Computer: 1st place Wil Benoit.
Energy and Transportation: 1st place Zach Fontenot.
Engineering: 1st place Meaghan Austin, 2nd place Hayden Thomas, 3rd place Riley Gautreaux.
Medicine and Health Science: 1st place Alex Roy.
Physics and Astronomy: 1st place Landon Miller, 2nd place Garret Miller, 3rd place Emma Landaiche.
Plant Science: 1st place Grant Douget, 2nd place Brandon Boykin, 3rd place Collin Reiners.
Overall Winner: Meaghan Austin, enginnering (Snatching With Straws)
Top winners will attend the Acadia Parish Science Fair next month at the Rayne Civic Center.
