Farmer’s Market series underway

The first Farmers Market of the spring/summer series was a success according to Pam McGee,

who organizes the event for the city. McGee, director of the Main Street program, said the market will continue for several weeks. She encourages vendors to bring their tables, chairs, petty cash and items for sale to the Ville Platte Town Square each Friday between 5 and 7 p.m. Residents are urged to visit the market and enjoy the entertainment.
