Jeremy Keith Senegal

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Syrie Funeral Home Chapel in Lafayette for Jeremy Keith Senegal, 21, who diied Saturday, October 31, 2009, due to injuries received in an automobile accident near Maurice in Vermillion Parish.

Burial will follow in Leger Cemetery in Indian Bayou.

Visitation will be observed at the funeral home from 7 a.m. until time of services on November 7, 2009.

Mr. Senegal was born on January 8, 1988, to Edward and Donna Senegal of Ridge.

Jeremy was a great swimmer and loved to fish and spend time with his brother; they were like best friends.

Jeremy was employed by Cal Dive in Broussard.

Survivors include his parents, Edward and Donna Senegal, of Ridge; a brother, Jacoby (Candace) Senegal, of Ridge; a sister, Jasmine (Chris) Senegal, of Ridge; a half-sister, Keisha (Tirrell) Landry, of Lafayette; paternal grandmother, Virginia Senegal, of Ridge; maternal grandparents, Daniel and Beth Mouton, of Rayne; godchild, Jeremy Lee Senegal, of Ridge; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Dwayne and Joshua Mouton; maternal grandmother, Beverly Mouton; paternal grandfather, Jennis Senegal; his aunt, Mary Clues; his maternal great-grandparents, Clovis and Audrey Mouton; and godmother, Laversa Landry.

Pallbearers will be Jacoby Senegal, Michael Clues, Eugene Sonnier, Ernest Senegal, Elvin Shephard, Robbie Guidry, Cole Hebert, and Shay Sinegal.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Mouton, Daniel Mouton, Jice Senegal, Don Senegal, Murphy Senegal, Michael Prejean, Corie Dugas, and Paul Senegal.
