Jess Clay Meche

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monday, April 15, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. for Jess Clay Meche, 21, who passed away Thursday, April 11, 2013.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Annette Faul Meche; three sisters, Robi Alaura Meche of Church Point, Myke Meche Broussard of Scott and Kasie Meche Thibodeaux of Duson; one brother, Robert “Duce” Meche II;  paternal grandmother, Beulah “Brun” Meche; maternal grandparents, J.C. and Laura C. Faul;  nieces and nephews, Tanner Broussard, Charli Broussard, Zoey Meche, Trey Meche and Sebastyn Thibodeaux; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and horsemen everywhere. 

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Doris Meche.

He was a member of the Louisiana High School Rodeo Association, Louisiana Quarter Horses Breeder’s Association, and the American Quarter Horse Association.

 A Rosary was recited Sunday, April 14, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc. in Rayne.

Friends were received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, Sunday, April 14, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Monday, April 15, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
