Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Musical set for Sunday, Jan. 19

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Musical has officially been scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m.

The musical, which will take place at Greater Love Family Worship Center, 1001 N. Ave. E in Crowley, is coordinated by the National Association of University Women, Youth Pacesetters.

The event celebrates the lifetime of struggles and achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Special guests this year will be Imani Temple #49 Praise Team, Imani Temple Dancers, M.I.M.E. (Ministry in Motion Everywhere) and other youth groups.

The event is free and open to the public.
