Masters of Soul’s performance will feature music made famous by record labels including Motown and Stax.

Don’t miss Masters of Soul at The Grand Oct. 20

The Masters of Soul will bring the legendary sounds of soul music to the stage of The Grand Opera House on Monday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.

Stroll down memory lane with this 10-member cast as they perform the hits of soul music’s most famous male and female groups.

The stylishly costumed singers’ choreographed performances will entertain the audience with the sounds of wonderful harmonies. And, in addition to dynamic vocalists, this high-energy show will feature a live back-up band of seasoned musicians.

The show will celebrate the music of such groups and individuals as The Temptations, Gladys Knight & the Pips, Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, The Four Tops, Diana Ross & The Supremes, The Jackson Five, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, The Commodores and many more.

For those who grew up in the 1960s, the music will generate some great memories. However, this is an opportunity for the younger generation to experience a unique musical sound that continues its profound influence on the history of popular music.

The Grand’s doors will open at 6 p.m., so show-goers may enjoy a cocktail at the bar.

Additionally, Zeus Café, located directly across the street from the opera house, will treat patrons to 10 percent off of their total checks before and after the event.

Tickets prices range from $40 to $50 and may be purchased by contacting the office of the Grand Opera House at 337-785-0440 or visiting thegrandoperahouse.org.

The Grand is located at 505 N. Parkerson Avenue in downtown Crowley.
