Grand Opera House announces first ‘Eve of the Eve’ fundraiser gala

The Grand Opera House Board of Directors announces the Eve4f the Eve: “A Midwinter Night’s Dream,” as its inaugural fundraising gala on Dec. 30, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Le Grand Hall Ballroom. 

The public is invited to join sponsors, First National Bank, Jaguar Energy Services and OncoLogics, for an over-the-top black tie fundraiser, as they celebrate the end of 2014 at the party of the year featuring Bag of Donuts, a New Orleans cover band. 

Tickets are $100 per guest, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., complimentary beer and wine all night and a silent auction. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out; purchase yours today by visiting www.TheGrandOperaHouse.org or calling 337-785-0440.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to The Grand Opera House.

The Grand Opera House in Crowley was originally built in 1901 by David E. Lyons and fully restored to its original grandeur in 2004 by the Lazar Gielen family. Today, The Grand Opera House is totally owned and operated by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
