KREWE DE LES DAMES HOLD INAUGURAL LADIES' TEA

 

Members of the Crowley Town Club’s “Krewe de les Dames” held their inaugural “Ladies Tea” at the home of Krewe Captain Nancy Wild on Sunday, Oct. 13.

In keeping with tradition of old fashioned teas, the 35 ladies in attendance were fashionably dressed in many styles of hats.

They enjoyed finger sandwiches along with petit fours and an assortment of hot and cold teas.

Hostesses for the event were Nancy Wild, captain of the Krewe de les Dames, Past Queen Patti Brammer, secretary and current Queen to King Cimmer LVIII Katie Chiasson, Past Queen Judy Guillot and Marlene Thibodeaux, co-captain.

Members on hand included past Mardi Gras queens Phyllis Owens, Becky Lamm, Georgia Petitjean, Sandy Comeaux, Patti Brammer, Judy Guillot, and Nettie Constantin; 2013 Queen Katie Chiasson; and Denise Maddie, Judy Borill, Ellen Dailey, Ramona Credeur, Christine Leleux, Karen Spaetgens, Barbara LeBlanc, Kim Diebel, Ann Sibley, Sybil Dupuis, Nancy Wild, Mary Guidry, Tina Hensgens, Lisa McNeely, Marlene Thibodeaux, Brooke Lowry, Belle Leleux, Christine Fulton, Sue Croughan, Nicole Swacker, Nancy Broadhurst, Cathy Savant and Alecia Bergeaux.

Any lady who has participated in the Krewe of Town Reveler’s Mardi Gras Ball in any year is eligible for membership in the Krewe de les Dames.
