Krewe de les Dames honors Cimmer’s 2013 court

Krewe Captain Nancy Wild and members of the Crowley Town Club’s Krewe de les Dames recently hosted a cocktail party in honor of Cimmer’ s Court of 2013 to signify Twelfth Night and the official opening of the Mardi Gras Season. A toast to the royalty and court, amusingly reflective of the 2013 Mardi Gras Ball, “Carnivalesque du Cirque,” was written and delivered by Ellen Dailey in honor of the 2013 court members, from left, “Contortionist” Carey Lawson, “Wheel Walker” Stefan Diebel, “Target Girl” Debbie Gaspard, “Rocketeer” Kevin Spell, “Fire Breather” Christine Fulton, “Strong Man” Beau Sibley, Queen Katie Chiasson, King Cimmer LVIII Greg Jones, “Sharpshooter” Patricia Wilson, “Trick Rider” Dr. Paul Trisler, “Animal Trainer” Judy Borill and “Wild Thing” Charlie Butler. The event was attended by members of the Krewe de les Dames and their spouses or guests along with the Court of 2013. In keeping with tradition, all attendees were asked to wear something from their respective costumes from past Mardi Gras balls.
