Hensgens in D.C.

Seventy-seventh International Rice Festival Queen Hailey Hensgens stopped at the governor’s mansion in Baton Rouge to see its Mardi Gras tree before traveling to Washington, D.C., last weekend to represent the rice industry at the Mystick Krewe of Louisianians’ Washington Mardi Gras. The theme for this year’s carnival ball, the 66th annual, is “Louisiana’s Service to America,” honoring Louisiana’s military men and women.
