Istre, Bernhard set January wedding date

Mr. and Mrs. Terry P. Istre of Crowley are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Caitlin Marie, to Adam James Bernhard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wayne Bernhard of Lafayette.
The couple will be united in marriage at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, at Sacred Heart Church in Broussard.
Caitlin is the granddaughter of the late Thomas and Mable Istre of Crowley, the late H. L. Marti, most recently of Crowley, and the late Bobbie Jean Brockway of Raymore, Missouri. She is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and a 2011 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette nursing program. She is employed as a Registered Nurse in labor and delivery at Lafayette General Hospital.
Adam is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Bernhard of Lafayette and Mrs. Verna Comeaux Wimberly and the late Mr. George A. Wimberly of Lafayette. He is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and attends UL Lafayette with plans to graduate in December.
Following their marriage the couple will reside in Lafayette.
