Joseph, Hensgens to wed at St. Charles Borromeo

Mr. and Mrs. Donovan Richard Joseph of Lafayette are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Olivia Jane Joseph, to Michael Charles Hensgens, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Joseph Hensgens Sr. of Crowley.

The couple will be united in Holy Matrimony on Friday, Dec. 20, at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Grand Coteau. 

Grandparents of the bride-elect are Mrs. Verdie LaHaye Fruge and the late Mr. Clifton Joseph Fruge, and Mrs. Noemy Fernandez Joseph and the late Mr. Isaac Habib Joseph. 

Olivia is a graduate of St. Thomas More High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. She is currently employed at Doctors Bourque, Pugliese and Harper. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. B.I. Moody III, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nicholas Hensgens Sr. 

Michael is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in Crowley and Louisiana State University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in accounting. He is currently self-employed at Superior Construction and Equipment, LLC. 

After the wedding the couple will reside in Crowley.
