LeBlanc, Levy announce fall nuptials

Emily Melissa LeBlanc and Richard Andrew Levy, both of Crowley, have announced that they are engaged and committed to be wed on the evening of Friday, Oct. 2.
The bride-elect is the daughter of the late David and Annette LeBlanc of Donaldsonville. She is the granddaughter of Flora LeBlanc and the late Ray LeBlanc Sr., and of the late Jimmy and Antoinette Fontana Haynes, all of Donaldsonville.
Emily graduated from Ascension Catholic High School in Donaldsonville before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Our Lady of the Lake College and a Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is presently employed as a family nurse practitioner at Gardiner Center Health Clinic in Gueydan.
The prospective groom is the son of Ronnie and Donna Levy of Crowley. His grandparents are Geneva Levy of Bogalusa and the late Ronald Levy Sr. and the late Albert and Erlene Miller Richard of Hathaway.
Richard is a graduate of Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish and Our Lady of the Lake College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and a Master of Science degree in nurse anesthesia. He is currently employed as a nurse anesthetist at Acadia General Hospital in Crowley.
The couple will be wed at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Baton Rouge during a 7 p.m. ceremony officiated by Fr. Mark Miley.
They plan to reside in Crowley following their wedding.
