Moss, Carriere plan Dec. 27 nuptials

Mrs. Robert Everett Moss of Erath is pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Shelby Hannah, to Mr. Joshua Paul Carriere, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bearb of Lafayette and Mr. Chris Carriere of Branch.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.J. Stoute Sr. of Erath, and the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Moss of Erath. Shelby is a 2009 graduate of Erath High School. She is studying hospitality management at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and is currently employed by the Marine Survival Training Center, UL Lafayette.

Joshua is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Faulk of Crowley and the late Wayne C. Faulk, and Mrs. Rowena Lavergne and Mr. Doug Carriere of Lafayette. He is a 2005 graduate of Acadiana High School and a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. He is currently employed by Crescent Crown Distributing.

The couple will unite in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony on the evening of Saturday, Dec. 27, at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church in Erath.
