Shellie Blanchard set to wed Kevin Gauthreaux in Baton Rouge

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Michael Blanchard of Baton Rouge are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Shellie Marie Blanchard of Baton Rouge, to Kevin Andrew Gauthreaux of Crowley.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Henry Bernard Jr. of Brusly, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor Jerome Blanchard Jr. of Baton Rouge.

Shellie graduated from Bishop Sullivan High School in Baton Rouge before attending Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in advertising design. She is presently employed as a senior graphic designer with Lamar Graphics in Baton Rouge.

The prospective groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Joseph Gauthreaux of Crowley. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Oble Ernest Esclovon of Crowley, and his paternal grandparents are Mrs. Edith Moss Gauthreaux of Crowley  and the late Mr. Meonce Gauthreaux.

Andrew is a graduate of Crowley High School and attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. He is currently employed as a machinist with Weatherford Completion Systems.

The couple will be wed on the afternoon of Saturday, April 18, 2015, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Baton Rouge. Fr. Michael Collins will officiate the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Following their wedding, they will reside in Crowley.
