Afternoon bridal shower honors Miss Becca Guidry

The Cantrell home in Rayne was the setting on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, for a bridal shower held in honor of Rebecca Anne “Becca” Guidry, bride-elect of Cody Dwight Vidrine, both of Lafayette.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Bill and Cheryl Guidry of Rayne.
The prospective groom is the son of Donna Vidrine of Lafayette and Dwight Vidrine of Opelousas.
Hosting the early afternoon courtesy were Ali Cantrell and Jenny Prevost (honoree’s sisters), Paulette Leger, Faye Cook, Carole Daigle, Tina Vidrine and Denise Joubert.
Guests were served an assortment of sweet and savory refreshments, along with a coffee and tea bar.
Guests attended the event from the Acadiana area, in addition to Mandeville, Baton Rouge, Dallas, San Antonio and Spring, Texas.
Becca and Cody will be married on Friday, Jan. 15, 2016, during a 7 p.m. ceremony at Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church on the UL Lafayette campus in Lafayette, followed by a reception at the Petroleum Club of Lafayette.
