Attakapas Study Club donates new library book

On Monday, Aug. 24, the Attakapas Study Club donated a new reference book, “The Encyclopedia of Antique Postcards” by Susan Brown Nicholson, to the Acadia Parish Library. On hand for the presentation of the book were, seated from left, Joanna Pruitt, Mae Prather, Liz Regan; standing, President Barbara Lengefeld, Assistant Librarian Ann Mire, Jackie Buescher, Dot Simon, Gerry Meche and Shirley Griffin. “Postcards from the Past” will be the program for the group’s January meeting, and anyone with a collection is encouraged to contact Lengefeld at lengefb@att.net.
