The Clements, who currently reside in Oakland, California, were married on Dec. 30, 1965, at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Carencro.
Mrs. Clement, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roosevelt Landor, is a retired nurse/school teacher. Mr. Clement, who was born to Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Clement, is a retired school teacher/counselor and musician.
They are the parents of Owen Travor Clement (married to Kristen) and Tamica LaShawn Clement Moore, as well as Henry’s two sons from prior to their marriage, Brian Anthony Clement (married to Charlotte) and Darrel Flucker (married to Claudette).
They have 11 grandchildren.
The couple will continue to spend time in their Crowley home as well as their other residence in the elite section of the Crocker Highlands area of Oakland. Much of their time is dedicated to traveling and helping with the care of their four grandchildren who live in California.
The Clements will soon vacation in France and explore some of their culture and experience many of the French cuisines that have been part of their life together.
