Club honors seniors for leadership

Three graduating Crowley High School seniors were recently honored by the Young Feminist Social Club at its annual awards night. The three outstanding young women, who display qualities of leadership and service in the community, were recognized for their achievements and presented with certificates and monetary stipends to assist with their future education. Recipients were Dana’ Plummer, daughter of Shadonda and Dana Plummer; Trenasha Conley, daughter of Pennie and Corey Washington; and Kierra Wilson, daughter of Shonquilla Beverly and Anthony Wilson. On hand for the presentation were, from left, Marie Beverly, club vice president; Plummer; Conley; Wilson; Jackie Bernard, club president; and Sheral Garrick, club public relations.
