Comeaux celebrates 100 years

Lilly Hoffman Comeaux, joined by family and friends, celebrated her 100th birthday on Thurday, Dec. 31, at Southwind Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Crowley.
Comeaux was born in Crowley on Dec. 31, 1915, and attended St. Michael School. She went on to marry Dallas Comeaux, and the couple had two sons, Ronald Comeaux (and wife Dean) and Glenn Comeaux (and wife Gayle).
Comeaux worked at Brandt’s Jewelry Store in Crowley until her retirement.
She has six grandchildren, Michelle Comeaux, Lisa Krieg, Kathy Comeaux, Andrea Murphy, Laurie D’Aquin and Yvonne Houpy. She also has 12 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
