Crowley Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta celebrates 40th Founder's Day

The Crowley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., celebrated its 40th annual Founder’s Day on Sunday, Jan. 4, at Israelite Baptist Church (IBC) in Crowley. The members took part in the church’s devotional period and sermon, the message of which was “Teaching Values, Proverbs 15:21-26.” In honor of the special day, IBC presented a commemorative tile to the chapter. On hand for the presentation were, from left, IBC First Lady Cheryl Lewis (also chapter chaplain), Pastor Ivan Lewis, Yvonne Mills (chapter president) and Cynthia Dominick (church member and past chapter president).
