Crowley Branch NAUW installs new officers

The Nov. 18 National Association of University Women Crowley Branch meeting was held at the Martin Luther King Center in Crowley. The branch’s officers were installed, gift cards were issued to share with the sick and shut-in members of the community, plans for the annual Love Feast were made, a single parent was selected (for their life changing story) for 2014-15 and preliminary plans were made for the Martin Luther King youth musical to be held in January. On hand for the installation were, from left, Jocelyn Potier, recording secretary; Hilda Jones, historian; Myrtle Cain, chaplain; Betty Gums, treasurer; Evelyn Pleasure, parliamentarian; Cynthia Winbush, branch president; and Dr. Ezora Proctor (presidential advisor).
