Delta Kappa Gamma hears of La. Organ Procurement Agency

On Tuesday, Feb. 3, Jenn and Hans Nelson presented a program on organ donation to members of Xi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society, international teachers’ organization. Following the death of their son at age 19, the Nelsons began a foundation in his memory which they named Christian’s Legacy; its purpose is to promote organ donation and to aid the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. Meeting attendees included, seated from left, Xi Chapter President Jessica Robichaux, Jenn Nelson and Hans Nelson; standing, hostesses Lee Ann Wall, Allison Arceneaux, Sandra Pruitt, Lisa Stewart, Geretta Domingue and Carla Lambousy. The meeting was held at North Crowley Elementary School.
