Free Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon scheduled for Oct. 8

Are you at risk for breast cancer?  

Learn the answer to that question, and what can be done about it if you are, at a special meet-and-greet luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 8, sponsored by Cancer Center of Acadiana at Acadia General.

Lafayette General Health Medical Oncologist Victoria Panelli, M.D., and Surgeon Max Trahan, M.D., will be guest speakers at the event, which will be held at the Crowley Town Club, located at 625 Crowley-Rayne Hwy.

The two physicians will discuss who is at risk of getting breast cancer, and what available treatments are effective and safe in fighting it.

Their presentation will begin at noon, as lunch is served.

Admission is free to anyone affected by cancer, along with one guest.
