Jack Anthony Moody is one
Little Jack Anthony Moody celebrated his first birthday on Saturday, July 18, 2015, during a party held at the home of his parents, Luke and Kelli Moody of Rayne.
The party carried a “fishing” theme, with guests enjoying a fun jump, various riding vehicles, and a variety of small swimming pools with fishing poles for the children to catch different fish.
Fish theme refreshments provided for Jack’s guests included a fish-carved watermelon filled with watermelon, cantalope and grapes, small crickets of bait made of Oreo dirt cakes and gummy worms, cattails of chocolate cake and marshmellows, fish-shaped cookies with sprinkles and gold fish pretzels cheese crackers. The refreshments were placed on a fish net and surrounded with fishing poles and fishing gear.
Jack’s mother baked a small cake created with a blue wave design for his “smash cake” while his birthday cake was a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling decorated with a white and blue fish scale design topped with a red anchor.
Jack’s maternal grandparents are Tom and Rhonda Broussard of Rayne, with his paternal grandparents including Lisa Moody and Lonnie Moody, both of Rayne.
His great-grandparents are Melba Olinger, LJ and Lou Moody, and Raymond and Mary Lee Trahan, all of Rayne.
Also enjoying the pary was his older sister, Vivian Moody, age two.
